Dont burn the messenger guys, it is an alternate view that at this point isnt a horrible idea from a shareholder point of view. Theoretically right now mmj rises a fraction of HVST. I certainly wouldnt mind being more tethered to HVST performance as their prospects are more transparent as of this moment.
I liken it to a corporate inversion of sorts to eventually pay less tax. (Canadian companies pay 15% from a simple Google search while Aus companies pay >30%?)
The anti-thesis to that is how will mmj holders be compensated. To my knowledge the deal would probably involve holders of mmj taking shares in HVST. The cross currency and cross exchange part of it is tricky as I havent seen many of such transactions happen before.
