The suspension of works on the decline is a particularly significant event. Such contractual issues in my experience are deeply problematic. Look at the maintenance / suspension / termination (legal) costs that may take many months to be percolated to the market (I wouldn't be surprised if they exceeded the original contract value given the competence of these galahs to do anything they claim). There will still be significant costs paid to Redpath on an ongoing basis as a result of the suspension as well as loss of profit and opportunity, the potential for disagreement between the parties and entrenched legalities. Management has shown they are unfit to oversee anything.
