What was Dan Clifford's previous job has he ever been successful ??? All the rot started from Dargues at that time and with $200m they could have taken over numerous profitable miners on the ASX . Where the hell did they come up with Dargues ? Looks like no due diligence was done or very little probably fell in love with the shiny new plant.
Another point its easier making money on exploration companies than actual producing miners especially at the smaller end of town. Being a profitable miner is alot harder than it looks all down to management RVR is having the same struggles poor management.
