The common practice is to report BOTH production and cash position, shortly after quarter's end; then make the full quarterly report six weeks* or so after quarter's end.
There are a number of miners who make no production/cash report**, only providing the full quarterly. However, I can think of no others who report JUST production, in an update shortly after quarter's end. Can you list any?
*Wide band on the timing of the full quarterly.
** E.g., Ramelius for the past year or so, though Ramelius used to provide a production and cash report shortly after each quarter's end.
