    The crazy part about this structure is that the CEO is one of the board of 3.

    Much prefer a structure where the CEO position is separate from the board.

    This way the CEO is accountable to the board to implement company policy. and The Chairman can take a more independent viewpoint re company performance

    Now the CEO is reporting back to himself.
