And for the machochists amongst us there is this: although somewhat dated, the sixth edition costs a motza. The free pdf file is for the 4th edition of the Green Book. Interestingly perhaps, p428 (of 952!) of the pdf file tells us that the typical cross section of roadway in URBAN residential areas is 26 feet (7.8 metres)
