Yes I do set the benchmark relative to the other stocks in my portfolio. I do it that way only because it takes a decade (or two!) to establish the basis for the level of trust and respect I have for FID management (and BOD). I have to own a company to follow it carefully enough over a long time to distinguish the exceptional from the good. Others with top-class management IMHO are PME and GMG.
