I’m for one glad you started posting on the CTP threads I’ve been bashing on for the last number of years. Since reading your posts I’ve learned all about EXR and also a lot about the Perth basin. You’re simply at the top of the ladder in terms of gas investing and gas market understanding.
I knew CTP had something in central Aust and with Richard Cottee CEO and his right hand man Leon Delaney CFO at the helm I was into it I’ve learned a lot about the industry through the past five years as I’ve watched RC and LD bring CTP to the east coast via the NGP. I’ve seen them crack CTP wide open with 20/20 vision and turn a stranded asset in the desert 2400km from Sydney into a serious reserve for the east coast. And CTP has just begun its value appreciation with massive upside in conventional, unconventional, CBM, Helium and a further pipeline to the east coast via Moomba (provided duka subsalt (Helium trap) play bears the fruit promised by the insane 10,000psi + pressures recently shown in dukas -1 wildcat for which they had to abandon drilling due to rig not being suitably pressure rated.)
Anyway as with QGC and CTP I can see this EXR is an insane opportunity for this seasoned lot to repeat business as usual while being 1. Significantly closer to market, 2. higher margin, 3. Quite possibly a higher quality resource from initial qualitative indications, 4. cheaper labour, 5. non LNG and lower infrastructure costs ... it’s too good to be true and 10 bags Is looking almost looking like a formality. Let’s hope I have half an idea and we’ll be sweet for 5 bags.
