whilst the last sale was 0.2 cents, many holders who wanted to sell couldn't sell at 0.2 cents

they couldn't sell at 0.2 cents because there were no buyers willing to sell at that price.

they could sell at 0.1 cents but obviously they weren't willing to do so

what the consolidation does is to increase liquidity and allow sellers /buyers to effectively trade at somewhere between the 'old' prices of 0.1 cents and 0.2cents - or between 0.5 and 1.0 cent post consolidation


it's not the consolation that has caused the apparent reduction in value. 0.2 cents was never a true value.

my guess is that the price post consolidation will be somewhere between 0.5 and 0.1 cents

there is a myth that consolidations result in loss of shareholder value. nothing could be further from the truth.
