The difference between my angle an yours isn't great if there is a difference and could well be the same foliation with a different azimuth.
Obviously you've done a lot more work on it than my cursory effort, but things could be even more complex than my scenario. Not sure I agree with it, but I'm not going to spend that much time on it.
