Paul is kinda new in his role, they obviously were on a site tour and who knows what was going on with Jet lag and the like. Or he was in negotiations mode and shit canning an easily questionable approach. When I first heard about DSO from CXO I was somewhat perplexed exporting product with a 97%+ waste metric really felt like insanity. But in a world where economic rationality reigns supreme for a time some rather bonkers situations can prevail.

Glencore on some levels could be a distraction "buy our project or do a deal or Glencore is our back up.". again only time will tell.
