The strange and disconcerting thing with this latest announcement is that it says filter press instead of tailings filter press and it goes on to say "As production tonnage and grade continue to remain below expectations" - which sounds like they are talking about the filter press for the concentrate rather than the tailings filter press - but even that doesn't make sense because the grade really doesn't have much to do with either filter press - the grade of the concentrate is a factor of the grade of the feed going into the plant and then the recovery rate. If they are talking about the tailings filter press then it makes even less sense because if the grade coming out of the filter press is lower than expectations then that is a good thing not a bad thing as that means that less copper is going through to the tailings dam. The more of these announcements that they put out the more it seems that whoever is writing them has no clue about processing or production - its just bizarre. Are they writing them in another language and then using google translate to convert it into English?
