Not sure I can recall ENR ever finding a major mine -like Ausquest - joint ventures with South 32 for more years than I can remember and found nothing. Now that doesn't mean they haven't tried - they have but they haven't got lucky. I would rather pin my hopes on a prospector or junior explorer making a discovery than a major. Why most majors are now linking up in deals with juniors more than they have done in the past. No doubt we need a major JV partner now but if we had got lucky they would have been beating the door down -like Newcrest did at Havieron discovered by a tiddler Greatland Gold plc .
