It's a lifestyle gig inasmuch as he's gambling with other people's money and gets paid whether he wins or loses. But you can't really hold it against him, that's the nature of the industry. If they'd had a few decent hits everyone would have been calling him a genius and patting themselves on the back for being a visionary investor. You got to remember that mining exploration is gambling masquerading as something respectable, and you shouldn't bet more than you can afford to lose
