Yeah - I did the research too late. Still it was an announcement in Australia on an Australian market forum & in the absence of stating it was "short tons" one would assume it was imperial tons. The metric "tonnes" was the clue I overlooked. Duuhh

Interesting enough the WCU director who replied to my query did not dispute my discrepancy figure of 27,333lbs.

Also interesting is that ASIC contacted me to advise they were looking into the matter. Whether they really were or not ??
