Certainly doesn't look good.

The two possibilities are:

(1) The ship is steady and he believes that the company is in good hands and he can focus on other areas of interest or concern

(2) He doesn't want to retain his large holding in the company and thus it is better to not be a Director and be burdened with the Director disclosure requirements as he sells down his stake.

The narrative of the announcement - very terse - leads me to favour #2 vs. #1. The SP move confirms that others are thinking the same IMO.
