Very different risk profiles of these two companies, and the market has valued them accordingly. Higher risk = potentially higher reward (potentially also higher chance of failure). One is currently a speculative business, the other is not, although perhaps that's a simplistic view.

LKE may own all of its lithium asset, however not all of the revenue generated from Kachi is to LKE's benefit; Lilac can earn up to 25% of it. This should be factored into any projected earnings. That LKE will give away(!) up to 25% demonstrates how reliant they the company is on Lilac being successful here.

I hope for holders that LKE is a success, but there are bound to be many bumps, trials and tribulations along the way before being fully known (from a realist's point of view).
