My guess would be similar to yours. That he was only there to make up numbers, since I don't think he was actively involved with PSY, only seen him at the 2015 AGM and not at 2016.
And I guess now that we have enough directors to satisfy the ASX and possibly looking for more as a purposeful appointment with the right sets of skills, we could afford to let this one go and to save a bit of cost as well.
