Hi mate, i read through thoroughly and believe that's a rather inaccurate statement.
Whilst CS have loaned to shorters, the figures are there showing that most of those positions have been closed (shares returned). There are 2 identities that were associated with the shorting, if you disregard the loan shares you will have a better view of the quantities being accumulated by CS.
