It is misleading to report to the media that 97% of Shareholders supported Penn's remuneration package!
When in fact, at best, this deceptive 97 percentage is derived from probably only 8% of all eligible shareholders who are entitled to vote.
Furthermore, many of the supporters of Penn's package are in the T20 who rewards are based on similar voting procedures and criteria! eg ArgoInvestmentLtd.
Why rock the boat when u have a rigged voting system that’s in ur favour and likely to guarantee an upward trend for the future.
No wonder the Chairman was confronted with questions about exec pay!
