I do see "some" comfort when all of those 488,000 shorts had been closed. This could be interpreted as a distinct positive. Why suddenly close those accounts? Shorters worst enemy is "good news" that might spike the SP and catching them with their open shorts, COSTING them much more to buy to return them to whom they were borrowed frrom. Are there any such potential catalysts on the horizon???? Maybe, just a "precaution". The shorter is not a punter, just a vindictive troublemaker. We'll soon find out..
