There is one north west of the old kaiser diggings, old samples shed (pics months ago on one of these threads).
That one nth west is only about 120 metres from Driell Crek road and possibly 300 metres from the old diggings. then there is another neighbouring one further nth not too far away. Those two are at the extremity of the wind turbine nest.
There are others further toward Boda 1 2 3 as mentioned on here as well.
As to the time frame, that was discussed locally yesterday as well, we are putting their age around 5 to 6 years possibly.
Time gets away, could be slightly more?
So by the time any (if any) were relocated they would be half way through their effective life.
They are big dudes these ones, I drove past the Crookwell ones recently and these local ones are almost twice the size of those babies.
A lot of costs involved in relocation, lost power generation, lost income to the farmers (18K lease fee per annum) etc.
In fact when you look at the massive lease fees paid to the landowners for solar panels on their land, one wonders about the cost effectiveness of renewables really?
A recent farm land deal fell through, but another didn't possibly, would be interesting to see if there are any land assets added to ALK annual financials???
