Here is my perspective on life.
The only thing we have control over is our emotions and actions. Everything else is out of our control to some degree or totally. The question is how are you planning to react when things out of your control happen to you? At some point in life you have to turn off the automatic emotional reaction to cry like a baby when something doesn't go your way and adopt a different reaction or strategy to deal with it. (That's what I try to tech my kids everyday). That's what I have learnt over the years. Feel free to take that on board.
