Every active manager is the same. "Wait to the next recession" then we will show you our worth... "capital protection"...
Over 30 years of stats, through a variety of markets, that all show they have zero ability beyond the benchmark return. Just the vast majority doing worse than the market return over the long term.
We pay them millions so they can play with our money... sometimes they win... more often they lose. All the while they try to get you to listen to their emotive scare mongering, and ensure you don't just look at the numbers. The cold hard facts.
Or even worse, they take a performance fee for anything and everything above zero.
