The deeper it is, the harder it is to extract. Mining 101. A1M doesn't have 1% of the required infrastructure to mine at these levels, so I'm not quite sure what your point is. We need the anomalies to be reasonably shallow, not 2000 meters (that's 2km btw) below the surface.
I'm sure I read in an earlier announcement that some of the VTEM surveys had suggested that the gold and copper anomalies were NOT as deep as originally thought. therefore that would make it easier for A1M to drill and strike gold and copper in decent amounts. RIO/Newcrest et al are massive mining firms and have the capability and cash to embark on deep drilling and mining operations. Referring to them doesn't really assist AIM going forward.
