The 2023 scoping study envisaged a small high grade pit + underground operation, for total of 816Koz mined (1Mt plant @ 116Kozpa) over 7 years.

KK has since stated (many times) that toll milling will facilitate the financing of a larger pit and plant, producing (from memory) ~150Kozpa over 10-12 years. So let's say extra 500Koz mined to ~1.3Moz of the 2.9Moz MRE @ 0.2 g/t cut-off.

Today's announcement suggests that a significant portion of the remaining 1.6Moz will be amenable to heap leaching with excellent recoveries, instead of going to waste. What's not to like?
