Looks big enough to directly leach to me! Most of the Gruyere gold is sub 10 microns. Tell me, what's the stuff around the gold grain which prevents it being detected by all but Rusty's bugs?
But wait...
The bugs eat the gold and liberate it as auric coprolite. Is this a grain that the bugs missed?
