Just by way of clarification, I know that Mpire Media and Smarttrans were behind the Dphone contract where 1m phones were supposed to be rolled out with SMA software. Mpire Media's website also used to promo the opportunity for being a way in to the Chinese market for App Developers with reference to Smartrans.

Given announcements from SMA in the past have referred to both Zhenya Group of Companies and Mpire Media it cannot be ascertained that there is a direct linkage to Digi8 JV itself (which is where the SMA China revenue has been flowing from), but Mpire Media have definitely been part of SMA's China expansion.

Interesting in that Zhenya is selling this part of his business, but not clear of the overall impact on SMA as Zhenya is very likely still involved at different levels. It seems that there will be a reignited focus with Mpire Media so it could result in other opportunities if they still work closely together
