You make a good point as to accounting. I am no expert but perhaps it relates to treatment of interests in subsidiaries (i.e. consolidation). Whether or not one is permitted to do so under Australian Accounting Standards for minority interests may be a point of interest. Someone with a knowledge of the Corporations Act 2001 and ITAA 1997 section 703-15+ may be able to assist.

If Ivy was in fact controlled by CCA, then that may put a different light on ability to consolidate. Only sight of the Ivy operating agreement would confirm whether or not this was the status.
