I offered to pay HC to no longer have the ads. They refused, saying it's their policy to never have paid memberships.

Still I keep getting really inappropriate ads. At least the girly ones have stopped. Why would I be interested in dating a female or getting a mail order bride? I'm female and hetro. It's weird.

I hate the "fashion" ones too, the fashion they have is really ugly and for middle aged women. They're so ugly it's a comical point of interest.

They use algorithym to fine tune the advertising but not all the searches I do are for me. Silly algos.

But if you put an ad blocker on HC complain to you.

There's no way around it, except go to the ASX website immediately based on notifications of anns set for your phone.
