agree . the stipulation they hire local talent I think helps expedite things - it is a smart move for all parties here. I like this approach.
to find a world expert in cutting edge AI , machine learning right now is tough and the small and medium players have to compete with the Googles of the world. hiring local should reduce search times, no relocation costs and lost time, and (arguably) less cultural acclimatisation hurdles.....= faster time to productivity.
