At initial glance the companies listed below ABB (sixth on the list) do not currently report a net profit and ABB has only reported 2 years of net profit up to June '23. Hence the conundrum for the remainder - how to create a compelling offering to raise recurring revenue to build a business and then make it scalable to generate a profit for shareholders. Doing this organically is not easy but the case is probably strong to build a compelling business in a good market and then sell this to another business in the same industry that does not directly compete in that market segment to allow them to then create scale. I think this is what FSG story is about and by building the regional market offering they will be a compelling story for one of their larger peers to buy into. IMO.
