Pretty poor effort by BOD and management team to let PLS slip away as much as it has. The 2019 financials were never going to read well. Now, with everything that’s going on, i.e. JV, sell-off, plant issues, demand issues etc it just doesn’t feel like our ducks are lined up in a row. If anything it now feels like PLS is a sitting duck.
Time for PLS to batten down the hatches and squeeze every bit of profit out of the current operation they can. Time to either close the sell-off deal or cancel it. Time to come clean and announce without the sell-off we can’t fund the POSCO JV. It’s time for a clear and consistent strategy from this team.
