I seems to me that management needs a course in pr management,
when are they going to realize that issuing bland releases like yesterdays just does not cut it in this market.
The very first headline was the negative cashflow, yes there was an explanation to it, but what about providing some colour around what they are tendering for, how they see the current market, where they see the opportunities,what about the size of the current contract book.
When will they wake up and see that the only way to attract the marginal buyer is to get a bit more information out there, i have yet to see them do any kind of public relations work, i get the feeling that the current CEO is uncomfortable in getting out and talking to potential investors, whether he likes it or not, this is a major part of his job.
I simply can not believe that the founding shareholders are happy with the share price, given that private transactions are getting better multiplies than our listed company, then they have to admit that they are failing in this part of the business.
Management seems to want to run it as a private company, if thats the case then go and take it private, find a trade buyer, do a merge to create scale, in short do something, because at the moment its not working as a public company, and its only a matter of time that some of the bigger outside investors lose faith,
when that happens , given the market depth, watch out below.
