There are many companies with promising potential fundamentals, only a few will realize this potential. In AGO situation I didn't come across any realistic road plan leading to recovery. I personally couldn't make a positive contribution.
My understanding of the iron ore miners is that only those which sell IO 61%Fe or better have good chance of being profitable in the foreseeable future, say 5 years. Longterm future is completely uncertain because of the new industrial revolution.
