    I'm holding a stock which had a small quick Iron Ore operation in Tassie that did 1 shipment out of Burnie and then halted.

    Part was due to the IO price but the biggest issue was the shipping costs.

    FS estimates had $18US/t, but actual cost was $42US/t. I'm told current prices are now $55Us/t. No doubt shipping costs have exploded and will way heavily on those companies that dont have logistics prices under contract (some of the really big boys have their own ships too).
