The Cam government might announce funding for the rail and port later this month and start the clock ticking for SDL. If ANY potential bidder was waiting on the sidelines, they've just been given a gift. Why buy into the mine or takeover the company if they simply need to wait out another 12mths and pick it up directly from the government? Same goes for China. They're cosy with the gov and probably orchestrated this move.
China will not be participating in this project now (with SDL).
