Thanks Jacko22, I agree Interchange fee increase is an important component. And perhaps more so than the payment switch savings. I will keep digging to see if I can plug in some more tangible figures. There are definitely plenty of moving parts here. Also the pending brown label ATM acquisition that was slated to be completed by 31 March.
Perhaps some of these figures will become available to us punters over time. Nevertheless, some upside from a few different directions in the near to medium term. Also not sure of the effect on the rapidly scaling digital payments side with Bankit included, I do recall that prior to the Bankit announcement, NS was suggesting that new FindiPay signups were aiming to hit the rate of + 5,000 per month by the start of next financial year (1st April 25). Hence the growth from forecast 60,000 to 120,000 FindiPay merchants by 31 March 2026. So whilst not knowing numbers for the Bankit signup rates we could be looking at 300,000 plus FindiPay/Bankit digital outlets in 14 months time plus the BC Max Centres.
