DT has provided (in a few of the pressos/interviews) RMS and its Wattle Dam deposit/mine as an example of a similar deposit/mine/company story.
Similar deposit type/size, which started as a 13,500oz deposit (6 month mine life, $10M free cashflow), which RMS was going to use to become a self-funded explorer (bit like DRE, hey).
Turned out OK, and it took RMS from a MC of a few million dollars to making (self-funded) discoveries in the area/under the pit, buying it's own mill from the profits, paying dividends, $100M+ in the bank, etc.
That's how DRE is hoping it will play out for them too.
Also, gold price at that time was AUD$800/oz - currently it's $5,000.
There is no better strategy/game plan/whatever you want to call it, than what they're currently doing - develop/mine the ounces and have ongoing funds from that mining for exploration (and hopefully some nice dividends too), as well as raising that $10M for discovery exploration between raising it and mining cash/profits arriving into their bank account for further exploration, which will allow them to explore for that life-changing discovery (or two).
