goodonya gsmaree, you are learning quickly. To shortsell any stock, what they do is borrow that stock, say from a broker etc, then they can sell same at that price wanted and hopefully buy back quickly at a lower price, hence the profit.
Not everybody in a position to shortsell. But there are other ways to do just as well on the ASX. Watch the happenings as much as possible, anybody can learn, sure you can get burnt, BUT in time you can make big bucks.
Pirra entered this ASX market way back in 1999 with the dot.com era, sure got burnt, then when near busted, quickly learned, now so far in front wifey cannot believe. Great to see anybody having a go, but
