T+2 shorting doesn't show up in Short interest which is T+4 or even T+5 that's how out of date the ASX is on this issue.
Hence why it's illegal. And it is rife on ASX but they are like ostriches as they benefit and ASIC is sadly understaffed.
When I see it, I point it to key people I know.
