Even if there is FIFO it is an attractive position to take. You could get out of camp for a couple of hrs and go to a couple of close by pubs for a feed and socialize outside of camp life. You could fly your family up to Darwin for holidays on your time off. Both things you can't do in a normal FIFO mining position
