I have a lot of respect for Buffet, but at the risk of veering off topic this has always struck me as a pretty pointless quote.
If you never sell, you never actually make money. The value of your stock may go up or down, but you don't make money until you sell at a profit. Also, the quote seems to be written as if people live forever and the only goal in life is to "make money".
Money is only useful when you spend it.
Anyway, yeah I agree with Connex, there is still a few days for people to claim tax-loss, plus being down on an up day is not good. I'm interested in buying more but in the short term I think it's got more chance of going down than up.
