What a baffling response from the market. There's just no satisfying of some people no matter how solid the progress.

We have some overall very good news here, particularly regarding the progress of the mine (sounds and looks like pre-strip is actually a touch ahead of schedule) and the resource upgrade is imminent in the coming weeks (and very fortuitously will probably land after the tax sell-off's end).

Sometimes I really don't get why the markey spits the dummy like it does when such self-evident news paints a picture of a company with plenty of cash in its coffers, no debt, a resource upgrade just around the corner and a mine 6 months away from first shipment.

Still, the markets sometimes are not so rational. But if there's one thing I've learned to appreciate about CXO it's to learn to wait and show discipline because if you do, it will handsomely reward you in the long run.
