Back on 20 May 2021 Core announced an exploration target of 9.8-16.2Mt. Centurion was part of that list at 2.2 to 3.6Mt so they expected quite a bit from this pegmatite. There were lithium hits at Centurion noted on 13 Dec 2021. One of these was a 20m+ intercept, but it was a lower average grade at 0.74%. There was a 2.26% assay block, but the width was thin at 2m. It's safe to assume these were below what was hoped for. As noted above, as at the 12 July 2022 JORC upgrade, Centurion wasn't part of increase to 18.9Mt.

From the drilling to date, lithium is clearly present at Centurion, but just not in the widths/grades to have it being a low-cost option and at this stage even hitting the bottom end of the exploration target seems doubtful. That said, five drill holes do not tell you that much so there may be more than initially meets the eye.
