the point your missing is this , of course Australia is a great mining country , remember the commodities your talking about are mostly unique to this country ,
lithium is every where in abundant supply , hence cheaper producing countries will be the winners ,
hint follow RIO you would have heard of them surely ? and where they intend to mine in another 5/6 years when the demand may increase
