Wow. This is amazing news. This is the first topical agent I know of that's shown a positive result in Covid.
Yes, a very small group that was finally randomised, but a very large treatment effect.
And I like using virus clearance as the primary outcome rather than symptoms.
They should be able to get a large trial funded by any government agency.
This will get the company on some big partners' radar.
