    It's a very small RCT (39 patients in total).
    On the other hand, other studies of similar povidone iodine formulations in Covid used RAT tests so this one is definitely better designed as it's using viral cultures (RATs show Covid DNA fragments whether viable or not).
    The impact of a positive result would be pretty dramatic.
    And a strong positive result might even get past the regulators without needing more because its an RCT. Well, maybe.
    Worth waiting another 2 weeks.
