No it is just a process that has a few stages of initial claim lodge response, face to face initial meeting, off to reassess areas of concern and repeat till agreement or one party refuses to participate then arbitor makes ruling. It is justa process and arequired step to move forward and hopefully it will have positive outcome rather than spending heaps on more formal court cases where it is a arguement over points of law. I haven't looked at specfic of method of concilliation being use just speaking in generalities.
The key with any arbitration and concilliation is to drill down to specific points of disagreement to see if it can be resolved without taking next steps .It requires all parties to participate in a genuine form . Can quickly result in what would take years in delayed court cases to resolve at very low cost and if parties are out to resolve issue benifits for everyone.
It is good that FRE choose to keep holder informed there is progress.
