I think 8,000 oz pm is optimistic. Remember that the grade of the tailings is 0.5 gpt with a 54% recovery, so 4,000 oz pm (124kg) requires processing of 460,000 tonnes of material per month (which well over the plant’s 4.5mt pa capacity - though I don’t know whether the 4.5mt pa applies for the tailings). The ore grade from the satellite pits is much higher (1.38 gpt) and recoveries should be around 80%, so four times the gold. They might start blending new ore with the tailings in 2021, in which case 8,000 oz pm may well be possible.
